The Irish Journal of Gothic and Horror Studies (ISSN 2009-0374) is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary, electronic publication dedicated to the study of Gothic and horror literature, film, new media and television.
It was launched in October 2006 by Elizabeth McCarthy and Bernice M. Murphy, both of the School of English, Trinity College Dublin. From September 2012 until November 2015, Dara Downey (Trinity College Dublin) and Jenny McDonnell (Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Dun Laoghaire) took over as editors.
